T C Rowan provides bent, folded and rolled steel to your drawings as part of a complete fabrication package, supplied in mild and stainless steel and brought together in our own Banbury workshop. If you need folded plate, press-brake bends, rolled sections or curved beams, we take on the forming and deliver the finished, welded steelwork ready to bolt up, rather than leaving you to chase shaped components from one place and fabrication from another. Bent and rolled to your drawings
We work from your architect’s plans, the structural engineer’s calculations or your own fabrication drawings, and we supply the formed steel to those dimensions. Where you do not yet have a detail, we can carry out a site survey, produce fabrication drawings and confirm the profile, radius and section before anything is committed.
We do not guess a bend or a radius. Bend allowances, rolling radii, plate thicknesses and tolerances are confirmed against your drawings and the structural specification for each job, because a curve that looks right on paper still has to weld up square and tie into the rest of the steel on site. Standard sections we form to include angle, flat bar, channel, square and rectangular hollow section, tube and plate, in mild steel for structural and general work and stainless steel where corrosion resistance or an exposed finish matters.
One package: formed, welded and finished
Bending and rolling on their own leave you with shaped steel and a coordination problem. The value is in what happens next, and that is the part we control directly. Once the formed components are supplied, they are welded, assembled and finished in our own Banbury workshop by qualified, coded welders using MIG, TIG and MMA processes to suit the material and the joint. We then deliver to your site, or our own erection team carries out the on-site installation, including any welding that has to be finished in place.
That single point of responsibility from drawing to final bolt is the core of how we work. You are not managing a forming supplier, a fabricator and an installer separately and hoping the three sets of dimensions agree. One firm takes on the formed steel, builds it into the package and stands behind the result.

Quality, standards and traceability
T C Rowan is CE approved and works to BS EN 1090 execution standards, the recognised standard for structural steelwork in the UK and Europe, so formed members that carry load are fabricated and documented to the same discipline as the rest of the frame. Material traceability is available on request, and we are fully insured.
For load-bearing and structural work, section sizing and any rolled structural member must be confirmed by a structural engineer’s calculation, and load-bearing alterations require Building Control sign-off. We form and fabricate to those calculations rather than assumed dimensions, and we coordinate with your engineer so the curved or folded steel matches what has been approved.
