For Xsign/Dline in Brackley we delivered a complete turnkey commercial building: a two-storey office and workspace taken from bare ground to fitted-out premises by one contractor.
The brief
A growing signage business needed combined office and production space, and needed the build managed as a single programme rather than coordinating groundworkers, steel erectors, cladders and fit-out trades themselves.
What we delivered
- Groundworks: site preparation, foundations and slab
- Steel frame construction: two-storey industrial steelwork fabricated in Banbury and erected by our own team
- External cladding: full weathertight envelope
- Windows: commercial glazing throughout
- Internal fit-out: first floor offices over ground-floor workspace, completed to occupation standard
Why it matters
Multi-trade commercial builds usually leak time at the joints between contractors. Running groundworks, frame, envelope and fit-out as one continuous programme meant each phase started the day the previous one finished. This is the model for our design and build packages: one contract, one accountable team.
