At Unit 1 in Britwell Salome we completed the full manufacture and installation of a steel-framed residential building, a showcase of precision residential steel framing from fabrication drawings to erected structure. This project showcases our steel frame building expertise across Oxfordshire.
The brief
A steel-framed house demands tighter tolerances than agricultural or industrial frames: the structure must align precisely with floor zones, window openings and following trades’ work, because every millimetre of error surfaces in the finished rooms.
What we delivered
- Frame manufacture: the complete residential steel frame fabricated in our Banbury workshop, every member cut, drilled and finished to fabrication drawings
- Installation: full frame erection on site by our own team, plumbed, levelled and bolted to specification
- Coordination: frame detail coordinated with the follow-on construction so floors, openings and services landed where the drawings said they would
