At a private residence in Oxford we replaced and installed a new stable roof and conservatory roof, combining traditional roofing methods with durable modern materials.
The brief
Two ageing roofs on one property: a stable roof past the end of its life, and a conservatory roof that needed replacing with something better insulated and longer lasting. The client wanted both handled in one programme by one contractor.
What we delivered
- Stable roof replacement: the existing covering stripped, structure checked and strengthened where needed, and a new weathertight roof installed appropriate to an equestrian building
- Conservatory roof installation: new roof system fitted to the existing conservatory structure, improving insulation and finish
- Structural steel support: supplementary steelwork where the existing structures needed reinforcement to carry the new roofs
The result
Both buildings re-roofed in a single visit programme, watertight and finished, an example of the smaller-scale residential and refurbishment work we take on alongside full structural packages.
Refurbishment and steelwork modification is a core service: existing buildings rarely match their drawings, which is why our site survey service measures before we fabricate. For work on your property, get in touch.
